Best Practices

Are you working to improve communication and trust between citizens and elected representatives? Then your input is needed on this document.

At the Online Constituent Identity Workshop, we created a Best Practices guide that lays the foundation for an online constituent identity system. This system would enable multiple private companies to work independently within a structure that protects citizen’s privacy and enables Representatives to identify the constituency of incoming messages.

Please check it out and submit your comments:

Best Practices for Online Constituent Identity

(Hat Friendly) Happy HourFedora on umbrella

Moving forward, we’ll be doing happy hours every second Tuesday of the month. This means the next one is on 1/11/11 from 5:30 – 7:30pm at Bar Dupont here in DC. If you’re around, please stop by – the conversation is always good!

And yes, the topic of conversation is still citizen engagement, but since the bar gets kind of busy sometimes, I’ve been told people have missed us. Consequently: look for the hat.
